PdH is the only IB school with a Dine immersion and Spanish/Dual Language program in the world Institute Background
We are a tri-lingual International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme School. Our Navajo immersion program is an indigenous language revitalization program where students are taught all subjects in English and Dine. Our Spanish Dual Language program is a 50/50 model where native English speakers and native Spanish speakers are taught all subjects in Spanish for half of their day and English for half of their day. Because of our IB accreditation, our teaching style is inquiry-based with a focus on not only language development but also cultural understanding and appreciation.
