The American Councils Research Center (ARC) at the American Councils for International Education coordinates the America’s Languages Initiative on behalf of the WG. It is responsible for the development of the Portal as well as the final National Colloquium in collaboration with COERLL.

American Councils strengthens international ties and mutual understanding through excellence in academic, professional and cultural exchange, language acquisition, educational development, and research Since 1974, its educational portfolio has grown to include 90 countries important to national security, prosperity, and peace. Its programs are backed by thorough research to ensure their quality and integrity. Its participants represent a spectrum of learners, from high school through the postdoctoral and professional level.
