America's Languages Fellows

America's Languages Fellows (ALFs)

Members of the WG recruit a cadre of “America’s Languages Fellows” (ALFs), distinguished teachers, administrators and researchers well acquainted with programs and practices across the country that can serve as models of access and equity, with accountability. Fellows are responsible for which programs actually appear on the Portal. This means that they:

  • identify model programs in their area of expertise;

  • encourage and, if need be, support programs in the application process; and,

  • review program applicants in their area of expertise and approve or delay for further consideration.

The current list of Fellows, which is still growing, can be found here.
