More than a Language School, a Global Tribe Institute Background
Our school was built upon the concept of bringing all learners together coming from different backgrounds and ethnicities, immigrants, and people of any color. For us, all of them form an honored and respectful global tribe breaking the barriers of separation created by the system.
To provide equity and access to all learners, we created dual programs promoting excellence, teaching Spanish as a second language to English learners, immigrants of other countries who dream about being multilingual, Latinx and heritage speakers who want to recover part of their roots, and we also teach English to immigrants or foreigners.

Specific practices that are the reasons your HULs enjoy success in your program
Practice 1
Communication is the key. Construction of a safe atmosphere where mistakes are appreciated as part of learning a language instead of being condemned.
Practice 2
Culture is valued, shared, and interchanged.
Practice 3
Some students can not afford to travel to other countries to practice the language. That is why we organize language exchanges, both in-person and virtually, with students and teachers from other countries.

Explicit Example
DualLanguageSchools.org supports the dual language school movement nationwide. Their mission is to create a community for dual language school leaders, educators, advocates and parents to help students achieve biliteracy through dual language immersion. Our program implements this facilitating to all our students the opportunity of not being only dual, bilingual, and bicultural, but to be part of a global community where everyone can have access to learning a language. To achieve that, we support those who have financial problems and we embrace all communities of learners, especially the HULs.
